BIKE TECHNICIAN – Part or Full Time Position – Eureka

Pacific Outfitters of Eureka is looking for an experienced Bike Technician. The ideal applicant is reliable, professional, and qualified to work on the bikes brands which we sell. Expect to work on a bike as part of the interview process.
Pay Scale: $16.50/hr to $19.50/hr
Schedule: Full Time (30-40 hours per week)
Part Time (20-30 hours per week)
Weekend & holiday hours are required
Prerequisites: This position requires the applicant to be 18+ year of age and able to possess a Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

Be an expert at the repair and care of bike products
Properly diagnose mechanical problems
Efficiently schedule repairs
Greet customers with a friendly smile
Answer phone calls from and make calls to other locations, customers and vendors
Describe and explain features, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
Prepare sales orders and work orders, using our database software
Assist your coworkers with various tasks as needed
Maintain professional working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers
Enthusiastically promote Pacific Outfitters’ mission of outdoor adventures and environmental stewardship
Consistently provide outstanding customer service
Follow company and departmental policies and procedures
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Capable of climbing up and down a ladder to reach merchandise
Able to bend and stretch
Able to reach high and low shelves
Able to navigate through racks, shelves and displays
Able to assist with moving large or bulky items
Able to stand for long periods of time
Be comfortable using hand and power tools
