Greet customers with a friendly smile
Answer incoming phone calls
Assist customers with finding the right products
Use POS system to ring up purchases
Recommend, describe and demonstrate the use of products
Keep sales floor clean, stocked and organized
Help your coworkers with various tasks as needed
Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and customers
Follow company and departmental policies and procedures
Enthusiastically promote Pacific Outfitters’ mission of outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship
Consistently provide outstanding customer service

Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Able to lift and carry up to five (5) pounds overhead to highest shelf and back down
Able to assist moving large or bulky items up to eighty (80) pounds
Able to use carts and hand trucks to move heavy items and loads
Able to bend and stretch to place and retrieve products and signs on the highest and lowest shelves
Able to navigate around clothing racks, product shelves and displays
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Able to climb stairs and ladders on a daily basis
Keep a clean, safe workplace at all times

Pay Range- $16.50 – $17.00 per hour

Everyone heads to our hunting department with their own story. Some are looking to get into a new hobby like kayaking or archery. Others are wanting some peace of mind with their personal safety and looking into purchasing a handgun. Others are avid hunters, gearing up for their next season.

We’re looking for a helpful and attentive team member to help each of those customers feel comfortable and ready for their next adventure.

Prerequisites: This position requires the applicant to be 18+ years of age
Must be able to possess a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and become an FSC Instructor

Possesses first-hand knowledge of firearms and firearm compliance and safety
Ensures that all firearm movement is logged in the FFL Log Book within 24 hours
Accurately prepares and processes 4473, DROS, and supporting paperwork for sale of firearms
Greet customers with a friendly smile
