ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Part Time Position – Eureka

Pacific Outfitters is seeking help in our main office in Eureka. If you have excellent attention to detail, are highly organized, and love multi-tasking, we want to meet you! 

As a firearms dealer, we need you to be eligible to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility and be at least 18 years of age.

Perform all Data Entry duties, including but not limited to- receipt of firearms, item creation, purchase orders, online vendor purchases, buyer reports, and other inventory projects
Assist the Orders Desk
Perform AP/AR responsibilities
Assist general management with various tasks as needed
Assist in the warehouse with receipt and distribution of product
Maintain confidentiality of personnel and company information
Other duties as needed

CORE DUTIES:
Assist coworkers with various tasks as needed
Be competent in the use of general office equipment and software
Answer phone calls and make calls to other locations, customers and vendors in a polite and professional manner
Maintain professional working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers
Enthusiastically promote Pacific Outfitters’ mission of outdoor adventures and environmental stewardship
Consistently provide outstanding customer service
Follow Company and departmental policies and procedures 
Required to work 30-40 hours per week

Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the day along with carrying ten pounds while walking
Able to lift and carry up to five (5) pounds overhead to highest shelf and back down
Able to assist moving large or bulky items up to eighty (80) pounds
Able to use pallet jacks, carts and hand trucks to move heavy items and loads
Able to bend and stretch to place and retrieve products and signs on the highest and lowest shelves
Able to navigate around clothing racks, product shelves and displays
Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
Able to climb stairs and ladders on a daily basis
Keep a clean, safe workplace at all times

PURCHASING AGENT Office Position at Pacific Outfitters, Eureka

Pacific Outfitters is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our Eureka office team. This position requires computer experience, high accuracy, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and with multiple teams. You will be interacting with customers, vendors, and our retail locations, so strong communication skills are required.

The Purchasing Agent is a full time position, (Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week).

As a part of your job, you will be handling firearms and are required by law to not have any felonies.

As part of the Inventory Team:
* Processes inventory projects
* Receives and transfers firearms
* Monitors and maintains inventory control systems

As part of the Purchasing Team:
* Performs basic purchasing functions in CounterPoint inventory management system
* Maintains special order requests via CounterPoint Order Management feature
* Assists Buyers and Receiving Team with assigned tasks

As part of the Pacific Outfitters Team:
* Performs other duties as needed

* Represents the Company positively and professionally
* Is able to work 30-40 hours per week
