Bike Technician Full Time Position at Pacific Outfitters, Ukiah

Pacific Outfitters of Ukiah is looking for an experienced bike mechanic for our shop in Ukiah.

The ideal candidate loves working with customers, has strong organizational skills, and can work independently. Expect to work on a bike as part of the interview process.

This position is full time (30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays).

Be an expert at the repair and care of bike products
Be able to properly diagnose mechanical problems
Efficiently schedule repairs
Greet customers with a friendly smile
Answer phone calls from and make calls to other locations, customers and vendors
Describe and explain features, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
Prepare sales orders and work orders, using our database software
Assist your coworkers with various tasks as needed
Maintain professional working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers
Enthusiastically promote Pacific Outfitters’ mission of outdoor adventures and environmental stewardship
Consistently provide outstanding customer service
Follow company and departmental policies and procedures

Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Capable of climbing up and down a ladder to reach merchandise
Able to bend and stretch
Able to reach high and low shelves
Able to navigate through racks, shelves and displays
Able to assist with moving large or bulky items
Able to stand for long periods of time
Physically able to navigate through clothing racks, product shelves and displays
Be comfortable using hand and power tools
Keep a clean, safe workplace

PURCHASING AGENT Office Position at Pacific Outfitters, Eureka

Pacific Outfitters is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our Eureka office team. This position requires computer experience, high accuracy, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and with multiple teams. You will be interacting with customers, vendors, and our retail locations, so strong communication skills are required.

The Purchasing Agent is a full time position, (Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week).

As a part of your job, you will be handling firearms and are required by law to not have any felonies.

As part of the Inventory Team:
* Processes inventory projects
* Receives and transfers firearms
* Monitors and maintains inventory control systems

As part of the Purchasing Team:
* Performs basic purchasing functions in CounterPoint inventory management system
* Maintains special order requests via CounterPoint Order Management feature
* Assists Buyers and Receiving Team with assigned tasks

As part of the Pacific Outfitters Team:
* Performs other duties as needed
