Social apps are a dime a dozen so when I come across an app or service that immediately proves it’s value I am inclined to share. This website and app is a social network for your neighborhood. It’s called Nextdoor and It’s not Facebook and it isn’t meant to be. You only connect to your neighbors.
From Nextdoors website:
I signed up and was surprised to see how many of my neighbors were already using Nextdoor. Additionally once I signed up they gave me the option of having Nextdoor send out 20 postcards to people in my neighborhood that haven’t signed up yet. I personally am using it for crime-watch and to build stronger relationships with my neighbors. What do you think? Sound off in the comments if this is something you see value in for your neighborhood.
